Our Mission

It is the mission of The Way Back to provide the resources to help people with psychiatric disabilities reintegrate into the community and to assist them with their recovery.

The agency provides rehabilitative housing services and staff support as a primary mechanism for achieving these goals.

  • Supporting people with psychiatric disabilities with transitional residential facilities
  • Preparing residents to live independently in the community
  • Teaching the skills needed to successfully live outside the community residence structure
  • Advocating for and protecting the rights and needs of the people it serves
Locations

Programs & Services

Community Residence

Provides supervised support for residents in acquiring basic living skills in a group housing environment.

Apartment Treatment

Provides residents with the opportunity to live independently, yet still have the benefit of frequent staff support.

Supportive Housing

Provides the security of permanent housing, the flexibility of independent housing, and the support of OMH-funded housing.
